The results for the 2024 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations were released simultaneously across the country earlier today.

Students who are unhappy with their HSC and equivalent exam results can begin applying for a re-evaluation starting tomorrow (Wednesday).

According to a notice issued today by the Dhaka Secondary and Higher Education Board, applications for re-evaluation will be accepted until October 22.

As in previous years, students who are dissatisfied with their results can apply for a board challenge or re-evaluation. The fee for submitting a re-evaluation request is Tk 150.

Here’s how to have your HSC 2024 answer scripts rechecked, commonly known as the "HSC Board Challenge":

Ensure you have a Teletalk prepaid SIM card.

Open the SMS feature and type: RSC <space> first three letters of your board <space> Roll <space> Subject Code.

Send the message to 16222.

After sending, you will receive a reply asking for your confirmation. This message will include a PIN code that you need to note down and will specify the amount required for the application process.

Reply with: RSC <space> Yes <space> PIN code <space> Contact Number and send it to 16222.

Example:

First message: RSC <space> DHA <space> 123456 <space> 111

Second message: RSC <space> Yes <space> 78945 <space> 01200000000

BDT 150 will then be deducted from your mobile balance for the rechecking of each paper. If you want to request multiple papers for rechecking, separate the subject codes with a comma (,). For the madrasa education board, type "Mad" instead of the first three letters of your board name. For the technical education board, type "Tec" instead.
